When the guys asked me to write for them I was a little worried for two reasons. The first being that I have never done anything like this previously and the second that at the moment my Spanish is nowhere near fluent. I discussed this with @LUFCesp and they seem happy to have me on board as a contributor and so here I am writing my second piece.
The title “Mi Rincón en Elland Road now had me thinking whilst sat on a sunny beach south of Alicante. I realised that over my years going there, that I have in fact sat, or stood, in all sides and corners of the famous ground. It is only over the last, perhaps 5 years, that I actually found my favourite place.
The first time I saw a game at ER was when Billy Bremner was still manager, just before Howard Wilkinson took over. It was an evening kick off against Barnsley I seem to recall and I sat on the old wooden seats for my baptism in the North West corner somewhere.
